Missing man located, Sunshine Beach
The 75-year-old man reported missing from Sunshine Beach on Tuesday morning has been located safe and well.
He was located around 7pm tonight in his home suburb of Sunshine Beach.
Police and assisting personnel had been searching Noosa National Park and surrounding areas today but suspended the search just prior to sunset. Around 7pm a member of the public contacted police after sighting a man wandering in Sunshine Beach area.
Police located the missing man on Bowman Terrace. He appeared to be unharmed but very fatigued and was happy to see police. QAS was contacted to check his health.
Police wish to thank the media and public for their assistance in locating the man.
