Three vehicle crash, Coomera: The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a crash involving three vehicles that occurred around 11.40 last night on Foxwell Road, approximately 500 metres east of Amity Drive. Preliminary investigation suggests a green sedan, which was allegedly seen driving dangerously prior to the incident, clipped a red sedan from behind causing it to veer from the roadway and roll on its roof. The driver of the red car, a man in his 20s, received minor injuries. The green car then crossed over double white lines and collided head on with a yellow vehicle. The driver of the yellow car, a woman in her 20’s, had to be extracted from her vehicle and suffered serious injuries to both legs and pelvis. A dog that was inside this car died as a result of the crash. The driver of the green car, a man in his 30’s, suffered concussion and a possible pelvic injury. All three drivers were transported to the Gold Coast Hospital. Police investigations continue.
