Armed robbery, Springwood
Police have released images of the overnight armed robbery of a Springwood service station.
Around 1.35am today two men entered the premises on Rochedale Road and threatened the console operator with what appeared to be a garden tool while demanding money.
The console operator handed over money from the till and the offenders fled.
The first man is described as 198cm tall and wearing a long sleeved black and red stripped jacket, white legionnaire style cap, a blue track suit with a wide white stripe down each leg and had a white material covering over his face.
The second man is described as 168cm tall and was wearing a jumper with a thin stripe across the chest and hood, blue track pants and white joggers.
