Death investigation, Eastern Heights: Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman at Eastern Heights this afternoon. Officers were called to a Vivian Street address around 1.30pm where the body of a 50-year-old woman was located in the kitchen of the residence. A 56-year-old man with serious injuries was also located at the house and was transported to hospital for treatment. Police investigations are continuing. Death investigation, Ogmore: A 38-year-old man was located deceased on a rural property at Ogmore this morning. Initial investigations reveal that at around 8.20, the Tungamull man was shooting with a small group, when it is believed he sustained a fatal gun shot wound.  Further investigations will be conducted to establish the circumstances of the death.

Disturbance, Browns Plains: Police issued a Notice to Appear to a 17-year-old Browns Plains youth after he was located in possession of a knife at Browns Plains this afternoon. It is believed two youths were involved in an altercation at a skate park in Waller Road around 11.30am. Following the altercation one of the youths and three of his male friends attended a nearby high school where they were approached by school staff and agreed to wait in the Administration Building. Police attended the school and spoke to the waiting youths; officers then allegedly located the 17-year-old in possession of two knives. The youth is not a student at the school and was charged with possession of a knife in a school. He is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on March 18. No one at the school was injured and police investigations are continuing.

Search concluded for missing woman, Biggera Waters:  Police have concluded searching for a missing woman after the discovery of a deceased woman at Main Beach today. The Runaway Bay woman had been missing since February 14. The body was located at just after 12 midday and investigations reveal no suspicious circumstances.
