Search for missing woman, Biggera Waters: Police and SES personnel are currently searching for a woman missing from her Ray Street, Biggera Waters home since 3pm yesterday.  The woman left a note saying she was going for a walk but has not been seen since.  She is described as being 182cm tall with a slim build, light brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a floral top with a white wide-brimmed hat. Concerns are held for her safety. If anyone has any information they should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Fatal crash, Bulimba: The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal crash at Bulimba this afternoon.  Preliminary investigations suggest that around 5pm a truck and a bicycle collided at the intersection of Lytton Road and Apollo Road.  The truck, driven by a 54-year-old man was travelling south-east on Apollo Road before making a left turn into Lytton Road.  Apollo Road is controlled by a give way sign. The bicycle was being ridden by a 37-year-old man heading east on Lytton Road and has collided with the front drivers side of the truck resulting in the rider going under the truck.  The truck continued another 30 meters before coming to a stop.  The rider died at the scene. Man missing in Leichhardt River, Mt Isa: Emergency Service personnel have been searching for a man missing in the swollen Leighhardt River at Mt Isa tonight.  The man was spotted on the Mt Isa Street Bridge around 5.50pm.  He allegedly removed his clothing and jumped into the river.  The river was very fast moving after a recent storm and the man was not seen to surface.  If anyone has any information they should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
