Wounding, Moranbah:  Police are investigating the circumstances of an incident where a 28-year-old local man received a substantial stab wound to his right arm. Around 2.30 this morning an altercation between a group of people occurred on Grosvenor Drive. A 25-year-old man is assisting police with their inquiries. The injured man was taken to Moranbah Hospital for medical treatment.

Search for missing boy, Cooroibah (Sunshine Coast): Police and emergency services are currently searching for a missing 22-month old boy at Cooroibah. Police were notified about 6pm that the boy was missing from an address on Carriage Way. The search is concentrating on the semi-rural area around Carriage Way. The boy is described as being aged 22-months old, with blonde hair and was wearing a red Wiggles singlet, a nappy and was without footwear.
