Armed robbery, Underwood: Police will continue investigations into an overnight armed robbery at an Underwood service station.  Around 10pm the man entered the Logan Road store placing a milk crate on the door opening to prevent it from closing.  He approached the console operator producing a knife and demanding money from the till.  He was handed a sum of money and he fled the store.  He is described as Caucasian and was wearing a dark blue hooded jumper and white shoes.  He had a black piece of cloth covering his face and he spoke with an Australian accent.

Armed robbery arrest, Eastern Heights: A 16-year-old boy will appear in the Ipswich Children’s Court on March 22 charged with armed robbery and enter premises with intent.  Around 5pm yesterday the youth allegedly entered a convenience store on Grange Road at Eastern Heights armed with a knife.  He is alleged to have threatened the man and woman working in the store before trying to force open the register.  He was pelted with groceries and allegedly stole cigarettes before fleeing the store.
