Attempted armed robbery, Oxley: An 18-year-old man has been arrested following an attempted armed robbery in Oxley earlier tonight. It is alleged the man entered the Cook Street take-away food store around 6.30 armed with a knife. The man allegedly threatened the attendant and demanded cash. The man fled the store empty handed and was located a short time later by police in Oxley Road. The Oxley man has been remanded in custody to appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court on April 3.
Wilful damage, Eatons Hill: Police are appealing for members of the public to come forward with information following a number of reported incidents in the Eatons Hill area this week. Police have received numerous reports of rocks and other dangerous items being thrown at homes and vehicles. Police would encourage people to report suspicious activity to there local police station or Crime Stoppers.

Sudden death, Alexandra Headlands: A 1-year-old boy has died in the Royal Brisbane Childrens Hospital following an incident in Alexandra Headlands this afternoon. Initial investigations reveal the Caboolture toddler fell from a second storey balcony of the Alexandra Parade complex around 3.30pm. The police investigations are continuing.
