Armed robbery, Bulimba: Police are investigating the early morning armed robbery of a Bulimba convenience store. Initial inquiries indicate that a man entered the Oxford Street store around 4.20am, produced a knife and demanded cash from the attendant. The store employee handed over a sum of cash and the man left the store. No one was injured as a result of the incident. The man is described as being aged in his 20s and had an olive complexion. He was wearing a black bandanna over his face, a brown hooded jacket or jumper and long pants. Police continue to appeal for assistance – Armed robbery, Bundall: Police are continuing to appeal for public assistance in their investigation into the armed robbery of a liquor store at a shopping centre on Bundall Road on October 23. Around 9pm a man entered the store armed with a knife, threatened the employee and demanded money before leaving with an amount of cash. He is described as Maori in appearance, aged in his early to mid 20s, approximately 187cms tall with a medium build and black hair. He was wearing a black long-sleeved jumper, three quarter length dark blue shorts, white sneakers and a white baseball cap. No one was injured in the incident. Armed robbery charges, Gold Coast: A 35-year-old Mudgeeraba man has been charged in relation to a number of armed robberies that were committed in the last month. He has been charged with seven counts of armed robbery relating to the robbery of a video store and two convenience stores in January and a newsagent, bank, convenience store and liquor store in December of 2010 and one count of attempted armed robbery. He was due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court today.
