Fatal industrial incident, Warwick: A man aged in his forties has been killed in an industrial incident at a work site in Warwick. At around 9:35am police were notified that the man had been crushed by a crane at an address on Rosehill Road. Workplace Health and Safety are investigating the incident.

Appeal for witnesses, petrol tanker rollover, Hillcrest: Police are asking any witnesses to this morning’s petrol tanker rollover to contact them. The traffic crash occurred around 5.45am on the Middle Road overpass at Hillcrest, where a semi trailer carrying fuel rolled over. Anyone with information which may assist police with their investigations is urged to contact the Logan Forensic Crash Unit on 3809 5277 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

House fire, Alderley: Police are investigating a house fire at Alderley today. Around 4.20pm police and Queensland Fire and Rescue Service were notified of the fire on Moran Street. There was 27-year-old man home at the time but he managed to escape with only minor injures. The house sustained some damage to the lower level. Investigations into the cause of the fire are continuing.
