UPDATE: Armed robberies, Logan
A 20-year-old man has been charged in relation to two attempted armed robberies in Logan on January 8, and an armed robbery on January 2.
The alleged incidences on January 8 took place at businesses on Julie Street, Crestmead, and Waller Road, Heritage Park, with both resulting in a man, who was brandishing a knife, fleeing empty handed.
On January 2, it is alleged a man brandishing a knife has threatened and demanded cash from a Hillcrest service station attendant before fleeing with a sum of cash.
The 20-year-old has been charged with 12 offences including two counts each of stealing, attempted armed robbery and robbery in company as well as one count each of armed robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He will appear before the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on January 10.
