Changed public viewing areas and traffic closures for Ipswich

Due to the inclement weather conditions experienced this afternoon and predicted for tomorrow the Ipswich Police District has changed some road closures and public viewing areas for the royal motorcade for safety reasons.

The West Moreton Anglican College will NOT be used as a public vantage point for the motorcade and road closures will be in place to restrict access to the school except for invited guests.

Wulkuraka Connection Road, Haggartys Avenue, Clarkes Road, Harwoods Road, Keswick Road and Larsens Road will be blocked between 9am and 1pm.

Detours will be in place to allow the passage of traffic between the Warrego Highway and Karrabin-Rosewood Road via Harwoods Road and Redhill Road.

Please do not attempt to attend the school unless you are an invited guest.

Other public vantage points within Ipswich District remain as advertised.

There are no changes to Grantham or Toowoomba areas.
