Serious assault Caloundra
Police have charged three men with assault occasioning bodily harm and enter with intent following the alleged serious assault of a man and a woman overnight.
Around 8pm four men forced their way into a residence on Bingera Terrace where they allegedly seriously assaulted a 58-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman. The man and the woman were taken to Caloundra Hospital for treatment for non-life threatening head and facial injuries.
The men fled the scene before police arrived, however the Sunshine Coast Police Dog Squad located three men in a nearby street.
Three men aged 19, 21 and 22 are due to appear in the Caloundra Magistrates Court on April 19.
Investigations are continuing.
