Serious assault Southport
Police are currently investigating an incident that occurred in the early hours of May 12 at a residence on High Street, Southport.
Initial investigations suggest that around 1am, a 49-year-old Southport man was assaulted by another man with a saucepan at a residential property on High Street.
The man sustained substantial head and torso injuries and was transported to Gold Coast Hospital where he is in a serious condition.
Police investigations into the incident are continuing.
