Surfer with serious injuries, Currumbin
Police are appealing for information relating to the identity of a man who has sustained serious injuries while surfing in Currumbin this morning.
Initial information, suggests around 8.45am the man was struck by a boat entering the Currumbin Bar Channel.
The boat and its occupants pulled the man from the water immediately after, and he was subsequently transported to Gold Coast Hospital with severe injuries.
