Fatal house fire, Slacks Creek
Police are investigating the cause of a house fire in Slacks Creek overnight, where a number of people are believed to have died.
Around midnight, emergency services were called to the Wagensveldt Street home to find it well alight.
One male occupant escaped the house, and attempted to extinguish the blaze. Initial investigations suggest a number of people have perished in the blaze.
There is no further information available at this time.
Police will investigate the cause of the fire.
