Fatal traffic crash, Middlemount
A man has died after a traffic crash in Middlemount early this morning.
Preliminary investigations suggest that a car and a truck collided just before 3am on Dysart Middlemount Road.
The male passenger of the car died at the scene, and the driver was transported to Moranbah Hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the truck was not physically injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit investigation is continuing.
