AOBH and robbery charges, Fortitude Valley
Three people have been charged following the alleged assault and robbery of two women on a bus in Fortitude Valley this morning.
Around 4.15am, the two 24-year-old women were on a bus travelling along Brunswick Street when they were allegedly assaulted by two other women and a man.
One of the 24-year-old’s was allegedly punched and kicked by the trio.
All three subsequently fled on foot allegedly with property taken from the woman.
As a result of investigations by local detectives a 19-year-old man and woman both from New Farm, and an 18-year old Ipswich woman have been charged.
All three have been charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count of robbery with violence.
They are due to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.
