Indecent assault, Ipswich - Appeal for public Assistance

Ipswich detectives investigating an indecent assault on a 16-year-old girl at Ipswich in 2010 are appealing for public assistance.

Shortly after 8pm on January 27, 2010 the girl was on a train stopped at Ipswich when she was approached by a man who exposed himself to her.

The girl managed to move away from the man, who subsequently got off the train before it left the station.

About an hour later the man was sighted along Bell Street on the David Trumpy Bridge.

The girl was not physically injured during the incident.

Detectives have released images of a man that may be able to assist them with their inquiries.

Anyone with information which could assist police with their investigations should contact Crime Stoppers anonymously via 1800 333 000 or crimestoppers.com.au 24hrs a day.
