Update: armed robbery, Runcorn
Around 10.35pm a man entered the Condamine Street supermarket and approached the counter.
The man produced a knife and threatened a male employee before fleeing with a sum of cash and cigarettes.
The offender is described as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 178cm tall and of a proportionate build.
He was wearing a black hooded jacket, blue jeans, white running shoes.
Police are asking anyone who may know the identity of the man pictured to contact crimestoppers.
Investigations are continuing.
