Robbery, Robina
Police are investigating the assault and robbery of a man at Robina early this morning.
The man was walking along Camberwell Circuit around 1:15am when he was struck on the head from behind and knocked to the ground before being kicked by a group of four to six men.
A backpack that the man was carrying was then stolen.
The men then ran off in two separate directions, down Doncaster Court and Mordialloc Court.
The men are described as being of Caucasian appearance. One man was wearing a dark grey hoodie, another was wearing a light blue hoodie. All were wearing jeans.
The injured man was taken to the Gold Coast Hospital for treatment.
