Unlawful wounding charge, Tully
Tully detectives have charged a 28-year-old local man with unlawful wounding following investigations into an incident at a Tully nightclub last evening.
It will be alleged that a 51-year-old Sunshine Coast man sustained a large laceration to the right side of his face following an incident with another man at the Butler Street business.
The victim was found lying on the floor inside the venue and transported to hospital for treatment.
The incident occurred sometime between 10.30 and 11.30pm.
The 28-year-old man has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in the Innisfail Magistrates Court on Monday.
