Armed robbery, Brisbane City
Police are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store in Brisbane City this afternoon.
Just before 4.30pm a man entered the Queen Street store and demanded money from the female staff member.
He threatened the woman with what appeared to be a replica firearm before fleeing the scene with cigarettes and a sum of cash.
The offender is described as being of average build with olive skin, aged in his 30s and having black hair.
He was wearing a green long sleeved shirt, denim jeans, light coloured running shoes, black sunglasses with gold rims and carrying a backpack and a concealed black firearm.
