Armed robbery, New Farm
Police are investigating the robbery of a 34-year-old man on Bowen Terrace at New Farm last night.
Around 9.50pm, the New Farm man was walking along the road when a man walking in the opposite direction asked him for the time. The offender then produced a knife and demanded the victim hand over his bag.
The victim attempted to flee but fell over, dropping his bag. The victim sustained minor lacerations as a result of the fall.
The offender stole the bag before fleeing on foot and was last seen running east along Barker Street.
The man is described as approximately 178cms tall with a proportionate build and blonde tousled hair. He was wearing a long sleeved grey hooded shirt, dark coloured jeans and light coloured runners.
Police investigations are continuing.
