Arson investigation, Nambour
Police forensic officers are currently investigating the suspected arson of a shop building at Nambour last night that caused extensive damage.
Around 10.25pm, emergency services were called to Short Street following reports of a shop on fire.
The fire was subsequently extinguished after causing serious damage to the shop, however, the adjacent buildings only sustained smoke damage.
Initial investigations suggest the fire may have been deliberately lit with offenders entering through the rear roof of the building.
