Police officer suspended, MSR
A junior officer from Metro South Region has been suspended from duty pending an investigation by the Ethical Standards Command.
The 32-year-old Constable was suspended after being given an NTA in relation to a shop stealing matter. The incident occurred while he was off duty, and is unrelated to his work as a police officer.
He is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrate’s Court on January 10, 2012.
The Queensland Police Service expects all employees to behave professionally, ethically and lawfully at all times.
