Officer issued notice to appear Operations Support Command
A male sergeant from Operations Support Command has been issued with a notice to appear for drink driving.
The officer was off-duty and driving a private vehicle when he was stopped at a random breath testing site in Chermside West about 10.45 this morning.
The 42-year-old officer, who allegedly had a blood alcohol content of .078%, is scheduled to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on January 12, 2012.
The incident will be considered as part of the QPS disciplinary process.
