Robbery charges, Southport
Police have charged four teenage boys following an incident in Southport yesterday morning.
It will be alleged the youths were travelling in a bus when they assaulted the 46-year-old driver on Frank Street before running off with a quantity of cash, just before midday.
The victim was treated for bruising.
A 13-year-old, 14-year-old and two 16-year-olds have been charged with one count of robbery.
They will be dealt with under the Youth Justices Act.
