Break and enter, Helensvale
Police are investigating the early morning break and enter at a shopping complex at Helensvale where an ATM was also damaged.
Initial investigations indicate a stolen white Daewoo Lanos was driven into the rear glass doors of the shopping complex at Sir John Overall Drive around 5am today. The car continued to drive through the mall striking a free standing ATM knocking it over. No money was obtained.
The car was left at the scene and the offenders are believed to have fled in a second vehicle.
Investigations are continuing.
