RAAF Base Tour
PASCAQ has organised a visit to RAAF Base Amberley commencing at 0800hrs on Tuesday 1st September for a guided tour of certain RAAF Squadrons. Access to these areas will be subject to operational requirements on the day and may change at late notice.
These areas include:
• C-17 (heavy lift aircraft)
• F1-11 (fighter / bomber)
• RAAF Fire Section
• RAAF Air Museum
• New Military Working Dog (MWD) kennels / facilities
• RAAF MWD Breeding, Development and Training School
Should you or your partner be interested in attending on this day you will need to provide details to Bevan Case by no later than 20 August 2009.
Additional requirements for foreign nationals attending the base are listed below.
To gain authority for Foreign National access to RAAF Amberley, the Base Command Post requires the following information 10 days prior to the visit for all visitors:

This visit may include a small cost for transport and lunch on the day (to be advised). If transport arrangements are successful we intend to have them depart the Ipswich accommodation area for RAAF Base Amberley and return again.
Places for this tour are limited and it will be a matter of a ‘first in basis’ (subject to Base approval).
