Professor Margaret Hamilton

Chair, Multiple & Complex Needs Panel, School of Population Health, University of Melbourne

Professor Hamilton has over thirty years experience in this field including clinical work, education and research.

She has a background in social work and public health and has conducted research in epidemiology, policy, evaluation (prevention and treatment), young people and drugs, women and alcohol, alcohol problems in remote Australia, evaluation of therapeutic communities and self-help and was the founding Director of Turning Point Alcohol and Drug Centre in Victoria.

She now Chairs the MACN Panel, a statutory body in Victoria and serves on various boards and policy advisory groups.
