Boxing

The night went very well and the responses I have had back show that every one thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

The following was the schedule of the fights;

There was a last minute cancellation of the ring which was coming from Murrwullinbah. The person that was originally supplying the ring had a death in the family so I had to source a ring on the Friday before the fight night and as a result the cost of the ring was $850.00 plus $84.90 for materials (Total $934.90).

The Gold Coast PCYC has already paid this account. I realise we originally budgeted for $500 for the ring however due to unforseen circumstances the price was increased. Inquiries I did make for a replacement ring on the Friday were on average $2000 so we got the best price available and that included myself and members of the Gold Coast PCYC hiring a trailer and physically removing the ring from where it was and transporting it to the club and re errecting it.

I have advised the Gold Coast PCYC that if the association only agree to cover the originally quoted $500 then I will be personally responsible for reimbursing the outstanding monies.

Please advise of your decision so I can finalise details with the Youth Club.
