Aquathon
WHEN: Saturday 17th September 2011 starting at 7.45AM, registrations commence at 7.30am.
WHERE: Queensland Police Service Academy, Rudd Street, Oxley
PROGRAM: The aquathon will commence with a 200m swim in the QPSA swimming pool followed by a 1km run on a bitumen service out and back course, this will then be followed by another 200m swim and then a further 1 km run. Competitors must have their torso covered during the run leg of the event.
Swimming caps are optional but no wet suits are permitted to be worn.
Competitors can choose to compete as an individual or as a team. With the team event one person will swim and the other run. The team event and individual event will start at the same time.
