OVERVIEW
The event is open to both male and female competitors. There is no age restriction however all competitors should be sufficiently fit and ready for competition. A current medical certificate or proof of such certificate if held by an amateur boxing body must be produced at the time of weighing in. Irrespective of nomination details all participants will fight in the category appropriate to their weight at the weigh-in.
Mouth protection and headgear is mandatory. All participants must wear appropriate shoes, boxing trunks and a blue or red sleeveless jersey or Singlet. All other equipment including boxing gloves will be provided. All fights will consist of 3 x 2 minute rounds and to eliminate over/under matching, all matches will be negotiated with the participants and the coordinator prior to commencement.
The event will be judged according to International Boxing Association Rules and participants who have previously fought professional or exhibition bouts will not be permitted to compete.
The weigh-in for the competition will be conducted on the morning of the event. All participants will fight in the category appropriate to their weight at the weigh-in.
