OVERVIEW
There are no age or gender restrictions for entry to sailing. Due to popular demand from last Qld Police Games the Laser Pico and Runaway Bay Yacht Club have been selected as the boat and venue of choice. Pico’s are hired from the club for the week at participant’s expense.
Those wishing to race in their own vessel are encouraged to email the coordinator with details of their boat. If there is sufficient interest a mixed fleet will be held as well as the Pico class.
For those that have not sailed before or have limited sailing ability there is a qualified sailing instructor on hand and novice sailers will have their own division that will include sail training and a simplified race format .– Contact the coordinator for more information.
Competitors are required to hire a boat for the duration of the competition and should to go to merchandise and click on boat hire which will cost $125.00.
