Anne Milner

Anne Milner, a Partner in Milner Lawyers, has more than 15 years’ experience in workplace law, including anti-discrimination and sexual harassment, workplace health and safety, and industrial disputes and strategies.

Ms Milner is the president of the Industrial Law Committee of the Queensland Law Society. She established Milner Lawyers after being a partner in two of Australia’s largest leading employment law practices

Chris Ronalds SC

Chris Ronalds SC is a leading Sydney barrister specialising in discrimination law, employment law and administrative law. She has over 20 years’ experience as an employee of, and adviser and consultant to, the Federal and State governments on subjects which range from affirmative action and sex discrimination to disability discrimination and the rights of nursing home residents.

She was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 1994 for her services to women and, in particular, anti-discrimination and affirmative action legislation.

Neroli Holmes, Deputy Commissioner Anti-Discrimination Commission Queensland

Neroli Holmes is the Deputy Commissioner at the Anti-Discrimination Commission Queensland. She has previously been the Registrar of the Anti-Discrimination Tribunal and has also held the position of Legal Officer in the Commission.

Prior to working with the Anti-Discrimination Commission she worked in Government in the Office of Premier and in Aboriginal and Islander Affairs.

Ms Holmes is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and has practised law in Queensland working in several legal firms, and in the United Kingdom where she worked as legal advisor and solicitor in a number of statutory authorities. She is a graduate of the University of Queensland with a BA/LLB (Hons).

Ross McSwan, Barrister & Principal of Paxis Dispute Solutions

Ross McSwan, is a barrister and Principal of Paxis Dispute Solutions.  He has practiced law for a number of years in a successful general law practice, and for five years has co-coordinated a community based mediation program.  Ross is at the private bar and specialises in employment, family and administrative law

Ross holds a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training, lectures in business law and dispute resolution at universities, and coaches in mediation courses conducted by Bond University.  He has been responsible for training and supervising mediators from legal, social science and indigenous backgrounds to a standard determined by federal legislation.

Ross is a Lieutenant with the Royal Australian Navy Reserve (Legal Corps) and he conducts mediations and workplace conferences throughout Australia.  He acts as an assessor of mediators who seek to join the expert panel that resolves disputes within the Australian Defence Force and has over 2000 hours experience attained through resolving disputes for the Australian Defence Force; Qld State Departments and local government; and private industry. 
He also holds a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws and has specialised by undertaking a Master of Laws in dispute resolution. He is qualified as a Grade 3 Arbitrator with the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators.

Tom Stodulka LLB, Grad Dip Strategic Studies and Grad Cert Mediation

Tom Stodulka has been a lawyer for 30 years having graduated in Law at Sydney University in 1974. He is a specialist mediator, conciliator, facilitator and victim-offender conference convenor. In addition to a career as a legal officer in the Navy he has worked for a number of diverse organizations including the NSW Public Trustee, the Legal Aid Division of the NSW Law Society, the ACT Housing Review Committee and Health Complaints Commission, the NT Attorney General’s Department and the Federal Merit Protection and Review Agency.

He has held senior positions in Government including National Director of Naval Legal Services, Deputy Ombudsman (NT), Anti-Discrimination Commissioner (NT), Chair Health Complaints Review Committee (NT), Principal Community Visitor (NT) and Policy Director Attorney-General’s Department (NT).

He is accredited as a specialist and senior mediator and mentor with LEADR, IAMA, the Qld Law Society, the Defence Department and all Qld Courts and the Federal Magistrates Court. In 2006 he was accredited to mediate disputes under the Federal Government’s Workplace Relations legislation and is a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner.

In addition to coaching and training in mediation for LEADR, Bond University, the University of Qld, and the Department of Defence, he sits on the Qld Law Society ADR Committee and was a former Director of LEADR and President of the NT Mediation Association.

Trisha Kendall

Organisational Psychologist, Ms Trisha Kendall, has worked closely with police and other emergency services for more than 14 years in delivering consulting services to organisations to attract, select, develop and retain staff. For the last five years, Ms Kendall, worked for the Queensland Police Service, managing the Career Planning Unit, delivering leadership programs for women, and coordinating the mentoring program.  

Ms Kendall, who runs her own consulting business, Changecorp, also has a background in managing organisational change and is committed to helping individuals and organisations achieve goals without sacrificing morale, performance, satisfaction, and well-being.


Leanne Clare SC, Director of Public Prosecutions Queensland

Leanne Clare SC, Director of Public Prosecutions Queensland was admitted to the Bar in 1985 and in 1986 began prosecuting sexual offences against children. At the same time she became a volunteer at the Women’s Legal Service.  Leanne was appointed as senior crown prosecutor in 1990 and from 1994 specialised in appellate work. In recent years, she has appeared in the High Court on most of the criminal appeals from Queensland. She has acted as judge of the District Court and assumed the role of the Director of Public Prosecutions in July 2000.  Leanne is a member of the National Committee for Reform of Child Sexual Offences Laws and a committee member of the Heads of Prosecuting Agencies for Commonwealth Countries.

Shane Stockill

Shane is a registered psychologist and possesses tertiary qualifications in occupational health and safety, and organisational psychology.  Employed in the Department of Employment and Industrial Relations (QLD) since 2000, Shane has gained significant experience in the development, implementation and review of State-wide WHS interventions.  Shane is currently coordinating the Queensland Psychosocial Initiative 2005 – 2008.

Dianne Schultz

Diane is currently working in a Principal Inspector Psychosocial role in the Brisbane North and Wide Bay/Sunshine Coast regions. Diane has gained industry experience as a small business owner and and professionally through in various roles within Workplace Health and Safety Queensland including as Departmental Liaison Officer across public sector agencies.
