Murder of
DIANE MARY ANGWIN
$250 000 REWARD

REWARD:
The Minister for Police and Corrective Services has approved a reward of $250,000 be offered for information which leads to the apprehension and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Diane Mary ANGWIN at Bowen on 2 December 1997.

INDEMNITY FROM PROSECUTION:
In addition, an appropriate indemnity from prosecution will be recommended for any accomplice, not being the person who actually committed the crime, who first gives such information.

The allocation of the $250,000 reward will be at the sole discretion of the Commissioner of the Police Service.

CIRCUMSTANCES:
At about 12.30 am on Tuesday, 2 December 1997 Diane Mary ANGWIN of 3/51 Leichhardt Street, Bowen was fatally stabbed in the chest by an unknown male assailant. Ms ANGWIN was taken to Bowen Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival. A Post Mortem revealed that the stab wound had severed the right carotid artery. The victim also sustained a deep cut to her right palm.
