$250 000 REWARD

REWARD:
The Minister for Police and Corrective Services has approved a reward of $250,000 be offered for information which leads to the apprehension and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the disappearance and suspected murder of Celena BRIDGE at Conondale on 16 July 1998.

INDEMNITY FROM PROSECUTION:
In addition, an appropriate indemnity from prosecution will be recommended for any accomplice, not being the person who actually committed the crime, who first gives such information.

The allocation of the $250,000 reward will be at the sole discretion of the Commissioner of the Police Service.

CIRCUMSTANCES:
On 10 August 1998, Celena BRIDGE, 28 years, was reported missing to the Missing Persons Bureau, Brisbane by her fiancé Jonathon WEBB, a British national holidaying in Australia. Ms BRIDGE had arrived in Australia on 6 May 1998 and intended to meet Mr WEBB on his arrival to continue their holiday together. When she failed to meet him Mr WEBB became concerned and reported the matter to police. The last positive sighting of Ms BRIDGE was on 16 July 1998 on Booloumba Creek Road at Conondale. Her bank account was last accessed in Brisbane on 13 July 1998. Ms BRIDGE is described as 165 cm tall, of slim build, tanned complexion, with brown hair and green eyes.
