MARIA YVONNE LAENEN
$250,000 REWARD

REWARD:
The Minister for Police and Corrective Services has approved a reward of $250,000 be offered for information which leads to the apprehension and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Maria Yvonne LAENEN at Acacia Ridge, Brisbane on or about 28 January 1978.

INDEMNITY FROM PROSECUTION:
In addition, an appropriate indemnity from prosecution will be recommended for any accomplice, not being the person who actually committed the crime, who first gives such information.

The allocation of the $250,000 reward will be at the sole discretion of the Commissioner of the Police Service.

CIRCUMSTANCES:
At approximately 4.20pm on 29 January 1978, the body of the deceased was found in the boot of her Datsun Sedan which was parked outside premises situated at No. 7 Limerick Street, Acacia Ridge. A post mortem examination indicated that death resulted from Vagal Inhibition and Injury to the Larynx.
