National Police Remembrance Day Services

Candlelight Vigils

This year National Police Remembrance Day Candlelight Vigils will be held in Brisbane, Cairns, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Charleville and Toowoomba. The services will honour those 137 police officers whose names are included on the Queensland Police Service Remembrance List.

Brisbane

The Candlelight Vigil will be held at the Police Memorial near 100 George Street, Brisbane from 7pm to 7.45pm on Thursday, September 27.

Cairns

The Candlelight Vigil will be held from 7pm on Thursday, September 27 at the Lagoon Complex, Esplanade, Cairns.

Gladstone

The Candlelight Vigil will be held at the Police Memorial outside the Gladstone Police Station, Yarroon Street, Gladstone, between 7pm and 7.45pm on Thursday, September 27.

Rockhampton

The Candlelight Vigil will be held at the Rockhampton Police Memorial at the Police Complex, Bolsover Street, Rockhampton at 7pm on Thursday, September 27.

Charleville

The Candlelight Vigil will be held between 6pm and 6.45pm on Thursday, September 27 at the Charleville Cemetery.

Toowoomba

The Candlelight Vigil will be held at the Police Memorial, Toowoomba District Office at 6.30pm on Thursday, September 27.
