Commitment to Recruitment
The Queensland Police Service (QPS) is committed to increasing the number of police officers in Queensland.
As a result, the QPS is appointing approximately 105 recruits to the Queensland Police Service Academy, Brisbane, every two months and 63 recruits to the Queensland Police Service Academy, Townsville, over the next two years, commencing October 2008.
