Training

What does the VIP training involve?

Training will cover areas such as working in a policing environment and an introduction to the QPS, crime prevention and community policing strategies, victims of crime support and referral, and the duties and responsibilities of Volunteers in Policing.

Upon successful completion of this program, VIPs will commence duties at an assigned police establishment where they will be given further orientation training and any necessary job-related skills training.
