Personal Health Considerations
There will be a number of health considerations that YOU will need to address after a rape or sexual assault and this will vary depending on your gender and the type of assault.
Considerations include:
- Emotional support and referral to appropriate support service(s)
- Pregnancy test
- Prevention of sexually transmitted disease
- General health care for body trauma
