Part IV

What help is available?

Help is available for both the Aggrieved and the Respondent involved in Domestic Violence situations. All police stations have a support /referral agency Register that lists the local support services that can offer assistance.

Acknowledging they have a problem with domestic violence is the first step a Respondent needs to take in order to solve their problem.

Only a Respondent can end domestic violence. A Respondent can control their own behaviour.
