You have determined that the offender lives in Western Australia.

In order to make a complaint to the Western Australia Police double click on the following link (Western Australia Police website) and make a report directly online:

Instructions

  1. Fill out the fields as appropriate.
  2. In the Message Field put a heading “Internet Auction Fraud Complaint” and then enter a brief summary of your complaint and include details such as, the internet auction website (ie. EBAY), seller’s internet auction ID, the seller’s bank account if known, the item  number and any other known information about the seller (ie. Names, phone numbers and email addresses)
  3. You will be contacted in due course and may be requested to submit further information.

NOTE: There can be a number of reasons why a person defaults on the supply of goods etc. therefore the reporting of this incident to the WA Police is not to be interpreted that an investigation will commence in every instance.

Other Information:

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOUR COMPLAINT WILL NOT BE ACTIONED UNLESS YOU PROVIDE PROOF OF HAVING LODGED A DISPUTE WITH THE RELEVANT INTERNET AUCTION PROVIDER/WEBSITE.

For evidentiary purposes it is extremely important that you keep the original emails in your email inbox until the investigation has been finalised.
