The Launch and Public Meeting
This meeting will take approximately two hours and will be coordinated by both the police and the steering committee. It is important that all persons in the proposed area are invited to attend this meeting.
Pre-typed invitations are available and will be forwarded to the steering committee, once a launch date has been arranged.
At this meeting, the programme will be fully explained by the District Crime Prevention Coordinator. Other speakers may include the Police Liaison Officer for your area, the local Officer-in-Charge, the District Officer, the sponsor's representative and an Area Coordinator for an already launched neighbouring programme.
