What will I have to do?

There are three types of coordinators required in a Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) programme.

Every Coordinator is responsible for fostering co-operation between residents under his/her control, and between police and residents.

Your District Crime Prevention Coordinator will oversee and coordinate all programmes in each police district. Each area also will have a local police officer appointed to act as their NHW Liaison Officer. By working together, neighbours can assist each other to reduce crime in their area.

The success of NHW depends largely on the commitment of, and cooperation between, residents and the police, but more importantly between residents themselves.
