Time involved in being an Area Coordinator

It is envisaged that these duties should only take approximately three hours per month, however, this will depend on the level of activity generated within each individual programme.

NOTE: It is important that you understand fully the objectives and ideals of the programme before any implementation can commence. See Mission & Objectives for further details.

The information contained in preceding pages has been provided to help you to decide whether or not you are able to become a member of the vast Neighbourhood Watch family across the State.

CRIME PREVENTION must start with someone, namely a person who is committed to realising a vision for a safe community environment.

Are you that person?

If your decision is to proceed further with the programme, then you may be assured that the Police Service is committed to supporting Neighbourhood Watch. The 'Working Together' motto clearly demonstrates this commitment.
