Perry Irwin House, Nundah
Following the untimely death of Senior Sergeant Perry Irwin in 2003, the QPS offered the Nundah Police Station residence to CSP Inc. to refurbish and manage for use of members of the Queensland Service Family in times of crisis and emergency. The residence was opened by members of Perry's family, the Minister and the Commissioner in August, 2004. Perry Irwin House is close to major hospitals in the northern suburbs of Brisbane, with railway and bus facilities within walking distance.
Furnishings within the residence have been donated by members of the Queensland Police Service and members of the community. To access accommodation at Perry Irwin House contact:
- your local Human Services Officer or Police Chaplaincy
Bookings are available through the QPS Chaplaincy Services.
