Q: I have a question regarding a traffic matter, who should I contact to obtain information regarding this matter?

A member of the Queensland Police Service, at your local police station near where you reside.

Q: Yesterday, I was involved in a traffic crash. What should I do to report the incident?

You should report the crash within 24 hours at your local police station near where you reside.

Q: Are traffic contollers permitted to direct traffic at an intersection?

No, traffic controllers are only permitted to give hand signals in conjunction with the appropriate STOP/SLOW baton.

Q: I have just received information from the State Penalties Enforcement Registry regarding an old unpaid Traffic Infringement Notice. I do not remember ever receiving the Notice, what should I do?

A letter is to be directed to the Officer in Charge, Queensland Police Service, in the area where the alleged offence occured, or if known the Officer in Charge of the member who issued the notice.
